The person usually does not immediately seek help until they reach the point of a panic attack or chronic pain. (W.H.O) Approximately 1.8% of the world's population suffers from Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, with women more often reporting symptoms. Often, the person suffers from persistent thoughts and impulses, which cause significant anxiety and discomfort. (W.H.O) Seasonal affective disorder (SAD) is a type of depression that's related to changes in seasons — SAD begins and ends at about the same times every year. People may also experience depression during the fall and winter months. symptoms may start out mild and become more severe as the season progresses. (W.H.O) COVID-19 has sparked or amplified much more serious mental health problems. A great number of people have reported psychological distress and symptoms of depression, anxiety or post-traumatic stress. The pandemic has led to a massive increase of 28% in depression and 26% in anxiety, disorders globally. (W.H.O) Depression is a common illness worldwide, with an estimated 5.7% among adults older than 60 years to be affected. Approximately 280 million people in the world have depression. It can cause the affected person to function poorly at work, at school and in the family. Although there are known, effective treatments for mental disorders, more than 75% of people in low- and middle-income countries receive no treatment. (W.H.O) Psychotic disorders affect negatively person's thinking, feeling, and social and professional behavior. According to the W.H.O, it affects both men and women.
